Chill Air – 5 Year Workmanship Warranty

Our Promise
When Chill Air installs your heating, cooling or ventilation system, the quality of that installation is on us. We back every residential install with a workmanship warranty lasting five (5) years from the installation date, five times longer than the one year that is standard in the industry.
Put simply: if something we did during the installation causes a problem within that five years, we will come back and put it right.
What the Warranty Covers
- The installation work itself: every part of the job carried out by Chill Air when fitting your system.
- Fixing any fault that arises from that installation work within five years of the original install date.
Keeping Your Warranty Valid
Two simple conditions apply:
- It covers homes only. The warranty is available on residential installations. It does not apply to commercial premises or mixed-use buildings.
- Your system needs its yearly service. To stay covered, the system must be serviced by Chill Air every 12 months from the install date. Booking the service is the homeowner's responsibility, but we make it easy: we will send you a reminder each year when it is due.
If either condition is not met, the warranty lapses.
What Falls Outside the Warranty
- The equipment itself. Faults in the heat pump or its components are handled under the manufacturer's warranty, and we are happy to help you with any manufacturer claim.
- Damage from causes beyond our work: misuse, neglect, vandalism, pests, power surges, natural events, or changes made to the system by anyone else.
- Work on your system that Chill Air did not perform.
- Marks, scuffs or minor cosmetic imperfections that have no effect on how the system runs.
The Fine Print
- Our responsibility under this warranty is limited to repairing or making good the original installation workmanship.
- How any fix is carried out is at our reasonable discretion, and completing warranty work does not restart or extend the five-year period.
- Nothing in this warranty limits or replaces your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Those rights apply in addition to this warranty.
